Hanami
Related to country: Japan

Hanami is the open air public nature viewing parties and festivals during spring cherry blossom (sakura) Japan. Yesterday I joined in the biggest Hamami in Iino area. In the exotic natural views, painted by Cherry flowers, there was held a traditional cultural shows, dance, song and performance. Just like a big picnic, whole day and night. In foothill we watch cultural events with the open heart, and eat different type of foods and drink until the control. There was borders and boundaries even race, sex and religions; all are human and peaceful. I am very impressed to see free human souls…I missed to take camera, but take some by my mobile set. Hanami custom has been observing since the 7th century when the aristocrats enjoyed looking at the cherry blossoms and wrote poems.

There is many famous cherry blossom viewing spots all over Japan. By the by, I would like to mentioned, sakura is the national flower of Japan, and there are over four hundred varieties of cherry trees in Japan. Sakura is different from the cherry of other countries. The Japanese cherry tree does not yield fruit like other cherry trees.

Sengamori
Related to country: Japan

10th April I joined in the mountain climbing festival with community members of Iino organised by local NPO. Every years they organise to overcome the tired of cold and preparation to receive Sakura. The slogan of the festivals was `we love forest` which coughed my heart. Together with all age peoples I climbed the mountain `Sengamori` which is 576 meters, embraces the Fukushima town by limbs . We walked through the deep forest and observed the flora, natural beauty along with Japanese culture. I was impressed to see that, in Bangladesh we empower by nationalism, feel comfortable say this is Bangladeshi. But Japanese feel comfortable to say this is global!

Yesterday I first saw Japanese priest and religious ceremony. Before I thought developed Japanese may don`t follow the religious traditions, as known before! But they follow just like us. The climbing ceremony was started by praying and opening ceremony in Sentu Shrine. During the long pray and conditions the young were tired, but aged people felt inner peace freedom by meeting God. After three hours climb we were tired and reached the top of mountain. From the crest to see the whole Fukushima city I was impressed. How beautiful this mountainous nature is ! I am impressed to see Japanese hospitality, everybody take care me and many persons give me food and exchange the greetings at top. Even though most cannot speak English, but try to say with me something and feel pride After take cafe and food, had been delivered NPO again start to down with relax.

My wife said – this time whole japan become “ country of flower” with various kinds of cherry blossoms. People drink, eat, and sing during the day and night. It is like a picnic. It generally starts middle of April. The cherry blossom viewing is known as hanami. It has been celebrated since 7th century and takes a very prominent position in Japanese culture. Cherry blossoms take position as national flower of Japan.

The Samurie
Related to country: Japan

The Samurie is the most popular TV serial in Japan at Fuji Terivi. Eventhoug I can not understand Japanese totally but I also watch everday. I am impressed to see the power of sword to establish ethics, morlity and good governance.

Japanese warriors, Samurie was famous members of the military class in ancient japanese society. They were supposed to lead their lives according to the ethic code of bushido ("the way of the warrior"). Strongly Confucian in nature, Bushido stressed concepts such as loyalty to one's master, self discipline and respectful, ethical behaviors. They employed a range of weapons such as bows and arrows, spears and guns, but never attack from backside. The braves were attendant of king and life devoted for absolute love, absolute faith and obedience. There was a ritual, after defeat they did commited suicide (seppuku) by cutting abdomen rather than being captured or dying a dishonorable death.

The samurai system was continue since Heian Period (794-1185) to Edo Period (1603 - 1868). `According to the Edo Period's official hierarchy of social castes, the samurai stood at the top, followed by the farmers, artisans and merchants. All samurai were forced to live in castle towns and received income from their lords in form of rice. Masterless samurai were called ronin and caused minor troubles during the early Edo Period. In 1868, Japan's feudal era came to an end, and the samurai class was abolished. True Samurie system yet respect by Japanese, and glorify in cultural events for their honesty and devortion.
